Facebook Messenger For Windows

The one of the most popular social networking website Facebook has now come with its Messenger desktop app for Windows that comes  with chat, ticker and notifications into an always-accessible, dock-able small window.

Officially the social network giant may not be ready to show its Messenger for Windows to the world, but some of the internet related blogs revealed that the upcoming FB “Messenger For Windows” is currently in a trial stage as users use Facebook without being on signed onto their FB account.

According to American technology news, media network website “The Verge” and Israeli blog TechIT it is found that the latest app trial was initially released in late November to a small group of Facebook users. Recently, the TechIT released the leaked download link that means Facebook’s new app is available.

A spokesperson of the social network giant said that they are continuing to make the FB latest appeasily accessible across platforms and it will be available for smartphones.

The new Facebook messenger requires Windows 7 platform and access to three main features of FB, which includes chat, ticker updates and a small blue FB bar for the same real-time notifications that users see on the website.

Media also reported that FB have more than 800 million active user and the total number alone FB clearly beats the number of user of all three messaging services; AIM, Windows Live Messenger and Yahoo Messenger.

The social network giant also has hinted at a few of its future features for the Windows flavor, which includes chatting with multiple friends, video calling, limiting chat accessibility, and editing its settings.

Facebook does not confirms the number version of its latest “Facebook Messenger for Windows” and it is not clear that they will be making announcements for their every new version or not.
