New Gear VR redesign doesn’t fix what wasn’t already broken last year – Ars Technica

From a distance, you’d be hard-pressed to see the difference between the 2016 Gear VR (bottom) and the 2015 edition (top) save for the color. The biggest change by far is the new touchpad, which is much more enjoyable to use on the 2016 model (left).
